You probably suck at most things. But
You probably suck at doing most things there are to do. Whether those things are running, sowing, singing or editing video is of little importance, really. But most things, you probably suck at.
The upside to that are the things you’re good at. Because there are a few, I’m sure. And if you don’t feel like there are, your confidence isn’t where it should be, or you just haven’t found them yet.
What you need to acknowledge and utilise is the gift those things you’re good at are. And realise that other people probably have other things they’re good at, wanting to utilise those things.
The next time you ask someone for help, think of that. You’re probably asking them because they’re good at what you need help with, and they want to do those things.
One of the hardest things to do is to feel useful. Asking for help is asking people to be useful.
