There is a big difference between work and work. Some work you do for someone else. Some work you do once, and the it’s done. Some work is painless and doesn’t really feel like work. Some work is trading time for money. And some work you do once to be paid for over the coming years.
Discerning between all of these is a hassle at times, but it’s important to do. Because once you’ve realised what type of work you’re doing, you’ll be able to motivate yourself for it. And if not, it might not be worth doing.
