I’m on a 60 hour workshop marathon kind of thing hosted by one of my closest friends. We’ve been going at it for over 36 hours when I exlaim “What the fuck, it’s 10pm. I’ve got a game!” tumbeling through the living room to get my computer.
Helena, the friend, asked me why. I realised that my usual explanation of “I’d really love it if I wouldn’t.” would not do well in this company. That’s how I realised that I’ve chosen football. I really really love this game and my team. Love watching the game and the feeling a win gives me.
It’s part of me, and I’ve chosen it over and over again.
