We can’t let the prettiest, smartest, most popular kids solve the bullying issues in school. It just won’t work. Can we then let the brightest, best at school-people do research on kids with problems in school?

At times, there’s a dissonance between experience and execution. White men can be the most knowledgeable in the field of post-colonial feminism. Just as well, the kids that were best in school can be the most knowledgeable about kids with problems regarding school.

What’s important to recognise is that we need both. Science is flawed when it comes to policy-making. Experience is subjective and can’t be taken for universal truths. They are both needed in order to pull from opposite directions.
