I’ve been a machine gun of ideas for the past 5–7 years. I haven’t always been that way, but it’s a skill I’m incredibly happy that I’ve acquired. And there’s one single reason to it.
I value having ideas rather than having good ones.
What that means is that I value the process of coming up with an idea, regardless of what it is about. The creative process is what gets me going, not the results.
I’ve spent time writing copy, coming up with campaigns for social media, refined systems for stock emissions, birthday and christmas gifts, t-shirt prints and crazy product ideas.
I love them all, because of the process behind each one.
