There’s been a lot of talk about the downsides of working a lot in my surroundings as of late. People talking about the backside of being…

The front side of the coin.

There’s been a lot of talk about the downsides of working a lot in my surroundings as of late. People talking about the backside of being an entrepreneur. Of doing the things you love, just a bit too much. Of taking on too many shifts at the extra job you’ve got, juggling too many curriculums in school or too many projects overall. A lot of emphasis on the backside.

I want to get this out of the way before I say anything else. There is a a backside to everything, even doing what you love. That backside hurts like hell, and it’s not pretty at all. The backside’s just not the whole picture.

I’ve been pulling a lot of late nighters as of late, where I’ve been working with my bachelors thesis. I’ve been working hard this whole semester with getting my schedule together, where I at one point had 300% worth of university studies on top of my side hustles. It’s been intense. I enjoyed it an unbelievable amount more than I would’ve enjoyed having nothing to do.

I chose all of the activities that I did. All the extra courses at Uni. All of my side hustles. Every book I read. All of it. And so many of us have so much more eligibility than we think we do. It’s possible to drop a course. It’s possible to pause a project. In almost all cases for the people I know, it’s possible. We just need to see it.

Here’s the deal, and I’ll be frank from now on. There’s so much to do. This is the greatest time to be alive that we know of. The world is in such a good place on so many levels. There’s so much possibility to be grabbed.

The next time anyone tells you about that backside, please consider the front of the coin. There’s not nearly enough conversation about all of the great things in the world.
