Sometimes going with the punch is uncomfortable.
Yesterday I wrote about changing my daily clock around to work for me rather than against me. I experimented with getting it back to what normally works for me, waking up early and getting a body of work in before breakfast, and even up to lunch.
I tried that today as well, with a good 8 hours of planned sleep I slept straight through all of my alarms and woke up after 10,5 hours of sleep instead. Without any ability to focus before late afternoon.
So today I’m going back to late nights instead, because why fight it? Go with what works. Sometimes that’s uncomfortable or not what you’d wish for.
