What responsibility are you taking without anyone asking you to?
Responsibility is something you take. It isn’t given to you. You might be delegated a task, but you take responsibility to act.
It might be scary taking it, as you put yourself in a vulnerable position. As you take it, you might fail and get blamed. Equally, you might get all of the cred if you succeed.
The most impressive responsibility however, is the kind you take without anyone asking you. Without someone delegating something to you, without anyone caring about the outcome.
Greta has taken responsibility. Nobody asked her to. She doesn’t want to have to take it, but takes it because she sees it needed. That takes courage, and if done properly it can have immense impact.
