Posting consistently changed my career

I can directly trace those things to the jobs I've had. Literally. I've been told that I was hired for jobs/gigs because of what I've posted.

The single best thing I've done for my career is to post consistently. For 3 years, I posted a vlog every weekday morning, talking about something that I'd thought about or learned. I had a podcast for 1,5 years where I invited people to have open conversations. For a while, I posted 1-3 open questions per day on Facebook, about anything and everything. I've published 503 articles on medium. The list goes on.

If you're looking for new opportunities, if you're in the beginning of your career, if you're a student: post. Find your voice, find formats that you're comfortable with. Doesn't matter where, how or what you post (within limits of course).

Again, this is anecdotal and what's worked for me. But I've heard this enough from others, and seen it for myself, to believe it.

If you need help with what to write about, write a comment, and I'll help in any way I can. … mer
