Heroes.

Meet your hero, watch their worst missteps and then tell me they’re still your hero.

Meet your hero, watch their worst missteps and then tell me they’re still your hero.

Not only did I meet my hero, I got to work for him. It taught me much of what I practice today, and I’m grateful for it every day.

One day, it wasn’t all that good anymore. I got fired in a brute manner and he saw me out the door.

It’s not about holding grudges, it’s about core values. I got to see him at his worst, and his best can’t even begin to cover those behaviours up.

Be sure not to hold people up too high. Hold behaviours high, hold actions high. Not people, unless you’ve seen them at their worst and still liked it.
