It flapped around like butterflies do, and I could see it from meters away as it was huge. Then it decided to land on my knee, just like in a movie.

And I panicked.

It’s interesting how we’re insanely afraid of things that can’t possibly hurt us in the long term. Embarrassment, bugs or clowns. They’re all highly unlikely to hurt us.

We’re wired to be afraid.

That’s why you might feel like you’re going to die walking up in front of the class as you’re going to give a presentation. It’s perfectly reasonable.

The question is: Is your fear inconvenient enough for you to battle it?
