Decisions need creativity
I had a friend calling me the other day, having a huge decision to make. She felt like the decision itself was consuming most of her energy, draining her from thinking about the alternatives.
I told her that creativity won’t come from blindly staring at the perceived problem, that you either have to go at it organised with creative questions, or let it go. She asked me whether we need creativity to make decisions.
I think we do. In order to make the best possible decision, we need to see all of the paths that are available to us. Sometimes that takes creativity, in order to see all of the possible paths. In order to make an informed decision, that’s what you need to do.
Be creative with your decision making, and always try to see new solutions.
